Some recent initiatives include:
- New
Windows 2000 server launch and legacy hardware repurposing. Faster
response times and increased storage space have reduced calls to help
desk.
- Workstation
acquisition and installation. By evaluating the needs of various departments
and standardizing on a single hardware vendor, both new and existing
units have been optimally deployed.
- Development
of management reports from installed accounting application.
- High
speed dedicated link/ thin client engineered and tested for onsite
property management office, supporting 10 users with Wide Area Network
(WAN), e-mail and other resources.
- Broadband
Internet connection, firewall and proxy. Users access real estate
resources and other business information.
- Design
and deployment of an Exchange Public Folder for computer support issues,
allowing users to request immediate help.
